Similar to home entertainment speakers and headsets, the units used for computing purposes handle the emitting or receiving of sound from and to the computer sound system. You can now choose from 2, 3, 5, 7, or 9-piece speakers, speakers with subwoofers, huge watt ranges (yes even 1000 watts), satellite speakers, digital-S/PDIF output, flat panel designs, and ones that sit in or around monitors.
